Avistrum Academy of Sorcery

Bringing Magic to Witches and Wizards in the New World Since 1697

Nurse Kayenta

Robin KayentaRobin Kayenta grew up on a farm in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with her parents and her grandparents. Her grandfather, a Native American, introduced her to the animals on the farm and in the surrounding area. Robin’s father and grandfather were both wizards while her mother and grandmother were not. It was her grandfather that gave her the dream to be a veterinarian for magical beasts.

Robin began pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian by attending Avistrum. Almost immediately she was befriended by fourth-year student and fellow Lobostro, Sachiko Kobiyashi. Sachiko began introducing Robin to many aspects of the wizarding world, most of all wizards’ favorite sport, Quidditch. After all, Robin was raised on a farm away from such things. After many of Sachiko’s games Robin found herself using the healing techniques she had learned from magical creatures on such students as Clark Dowling, Tyler Ward, Polonius Aberfoyle, and Kraven Bloodthorne. It was because of these matches that Robin decided help heal wizards instead of beasts.

In 2002 Robin was fortunate enough to travel to England for the World Cup match between Ireland and the U.S. Her school friend Sachiko was a Beater for the team. During the match Sachiko was seriously injured, but because of Robin’s skill she was able to make a quick recovery.

Robin spent two years after her graduation from Avistrum at the Malidanous University of Magical Medical Masterings. Studying everything she could to hone her skills to help people recover from all sorts of ailments, Robin then returned to Avistrum as head nurse, and many a broom-riding student is thankful for her.
